Sweet Sixteen Purse Invitations
We made these Sweet 16 Party Invitations for our daughters sweet 16th birthday. We got together and made these cute handbag invitations. The template that we used was a scrapbooking flirty purse template that we had bought to make mini albums. It is simple enough to make with out the template though. We brought out my scrapbook papers and used a range of different papers so in the end each invitation was unique. We used scrap pieces of papers in different shapes to decorate the front and a variety of alphabet stickers, rub-ons and stamps to spell out 'sweet sixteen' Some of the invitations have different types of letters but it simply adds to the charm.
We wrote the invitation wording on the inside by hand. It wasn't much to write so it didn't take long. I made sure to write a draught on scratch paper to ensure I didn't forget any important details. The handle is just a piece of satin ribbon. There are two holes in the top and the ribbon is threaded through and knotted on the inside.
