Create Invitations with Ribbon
Create invitations with a touch of flair by adding some ribbon trimming. Take a look at some ideas for using ribbon. You can buy certain products to prevent your ribbon from fraying at the ends. I don't use anything on ribbon except for maybe a bit of nail polish if I really want the ends to remain tidy. It works great and of course is cheap as chips.
Wrapping Narrow Ribbon
| Wrap the ribbon around the invitation and tie it off at the back. If you are mounting the card the ribbon is tied around on to a base card then use double sided tape or a glue stick to secure the ribbon in place at the back as flat as possible before mounting. | |

| Tie the ribbon at the front of the invitation with a double knot | |
| Trim off the excess ribbon for a tidy finish. | |
| Slide the ribbon up over the text of the invitation for a slightly different look. | |
Wide Ribbon
